Catherine Ashworth founded The Ashworth Group in 2009 after a decade at a Manhattan auction house, where she specialised in American furniture and decorative arts. She brought that training north: an eye for what is original, what is exceptional, and what a buyer will value in fifty years.
The group represents country houses, historic estates and land across northern Westchester and Fairfield County, from Bedford and Pound Ridge to Rye on the Sound. Many of its clients are families selling a house they have owned for a generation, or buying one they intend to keep for the next.
Catherine serves on the boards of a local land trust and a historical society, and lives in a 1790 farmhouse in Bedford Village.
